CrowdMood Trident: six prongs on one board

CrowdMood Trident takes its name from the futures that sit on the published chain. Dow, S&P 500, and Nasdaq 100 are duration — mega-cap, AI capex, every asset that was a long cash-flow wearing makeup. The crude prong is the barrel: depletion, fake spare, the EM car, the Strait. Gold is the real-rate check. The euro prong is the dollar and the liquidity that duration needs to stay expensive. One overlay, six readings, so a split is not a vibe. It is a page you can refresh.

What you see

Stance, how many bars since the last turn, a dated price chart, a sample track versus buy-and-hold, and the trade list. Long and short both stay in the market. Each closed turn prints its P&L.

What a “signal” is allowed to be

Not a push that says “all in.” Not a promised Sharpe. If the last turn was forty bars ago, the tape should look boring. Boring is information. Most visitors should leave without trading. The ones who come back are checking whether Trident’s crude prong confirmed the Strait column, or whether the Dow prong rolled while AI headlines were still euphoric.

Costs, slippage, and the fact that a bar closes after you already missed the tick are why this is research, not a brokerage. If the futures feed dies, we show the last cached print and say so. A silent tape is better than a hallucinated one.
